Liquor Sales Banned in Hyderabad During Election Results from June 4-5
In a move to maintain public order during the counting and announcement of Lok Sabha election results, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner K. Sreenivasa Reddy has prohibited the sale of liquor.
This ban applies to wine shops, toddy compounds, bars, restaurants, star hotels, and registered clubs in the city. The restriction will be in force from 6 a.m. on June 4 to 6 a.m. on June 5.
Those found violating the order will be subject to legal action. The measure is intended to prevent any disturbances or incidents that may arise from the consumption of alcohol during this critical period.
