Lulu Group to Invest in Andhra Pradesh with Shopping Malls, Hypermarkets, and Food Processing Centers
UAE-based Lulu Group International is set to establish modern food processing and logistics centers in Andhra Pradesh, alongside hypermarkets and a shopping mall, according to the company’s Chairman and Managing Director, Yusuffali MA.
In a post on the social media platform X, Yusuffali described his recent meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as "very fruitful." He revealed plans to launch an international-standard shopping mall with an 8-screen IMAX multiplex in Vizag, along with state-of-the-art hypermarkets in Vijayawada and Tirupati. Additionally, Lulu Group will develop modern food processing and logistics centers in the state.
Yusuffali also expressed his deep connection with Naidu, mentioning their 18-year-long "brotherly relationship." The post came after Naidu’s update on X, where he shared details of the productive meeting held in Amaravati, attended by Lulu Group’s Executive Director, Ashraf Ali MA.
“We discussed plans for a mall and multiplex in Vizag, hypermarkets in Vijayawada and Tirupati, and investments in the food processing sector across the state,” Naidu wrote. He assured the Lulu Group of the state government’s full cooperation and support, expressing optimism about their partnership for the development of Andhra Pradesh.
Lulu Group, with an annual turnover of USD 8 billion, operates in 25 countries across sectors including hypermarkets, shopping malls, manufacturing, trading, hospitality, and real estate.
