Massive Security Arrangements Made for PM Modi’s Secunderabad Meeting
Around 2,000 police personnel have been deployed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting scheduled at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad. The large-scale security arrangements are being coordinated by the Malkajgiri Police Commissionerate to ensure smooth conduct of the event and maintain public safety throughout the Prime Minister’s visit.
Malkajgiri Commissioner of Police B. Sumathi stated that the entire venue, surrounding areas, parking zones, and approach roads will remain under strict surveillance. Entry into the meeting venue will be permitted only through designated gates, and all attendees will undergo thorough security checks before being allowed inside. Unauthorized access into restricted zones will not be permitted under any circumstances.
Officials explained that extensive measures have been put in place for crowd control, emergency response, medical support, and fire safety management. The venue and nearby areas have been fully covered under CCTV surveillance to enable continuous monitoring of public movement and security conditions.
A joint command and control room has also been established to monitor all CCTV feeds in real time. According to police officials, this setup will allow quick communication and immediate response in case of any emergency situation. In addition, officers of Sub-Inspector rank and above have been provided with VHF communication systems to maintain coordinated operations during the event.
Anti-sabotage checks are being conducted continuously with the help of Bomb Disposal teams and sniffer dog squads. Advanced security scanners have been installed at entry points to detect explosives or prohibited materials. Special monitoring teams are also keeping watch on anti-social elements and suspicious activities.
Commissioner Sumathi further stated that additional security support has been arranged with specialized agencies including OCTOPUS and NSG teams. Mobile technical teams have also been deployed at entry gates for electronic device verification. With thousands of people expected to attend the meeting, authorities are implementing multi-layered security arrangements to ensure the event is conducted peacefully and without disruption.
