Matter of 'Grave Concern' says Pakistan on Pulwama attack
On Thursday Pakistan said that the attack on Kashmir's Pulwama district is a matter of grave concern and also rejected Indian media and governments allegations on the country’s link to the strike without any investigations.
The recent suicide bomber attack is said to the deadliest terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir three decades of militancy which killed 37 personnel and leaving many critically wounded.
Pakistan said that Attack in Pulwama in the Indian Occupied Kashmir is a matter of grave concern. We have always condemned acts of violence anywhere in the world. We strongly reject any insinuation by elements in the Indian media and government that seek to link the attack to Pakistan without investigations
Meanwhile, India slammed Pakistan over the attack and asked the country to stop supporting terrorists and dismantle terror infrastructure operating from its soil.
India also strongly reiterated its appeal to all the members of the international community to support the proposal to list terrorists, including JeM chief Masood Azhar as a designated terrorist under the 1267 sanctions committee of the UN security council and to ban terrorist organizations operating from territories controlled by Pakistan.
This heinous and despicable act has been perpetrated by Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pakistan based terrorist organization proscribed by the United Nations and other countries, the Ministry of External Affairs quoted. MEA also mentioned that Pakistan has given full freedom to lead this terror group by Massod Azhar to operate and expand his terror infrastructure in territories under Pakistans control and carry out attacks in India and elsewhere with impunity.
