Naidu Asks CM To Seek Fresh Mandate On The Capital Issue

In a move to go against Jagan’s three capitals idea, TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu has demanded YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to dissolve the Assembly and seek a fresh mandate on the issue.
Naidu voiced his opinion on the shifting of the state capital from Amaravati and said that he would quit the politics if the YSR Congress won a fresh mandate. Thereafter, he also suggested that the state government should conduct a referendum if it was not ready to go for fresh elections.
Naidu, from Guntur and Krishna district, told people not to cooperate with the MLAs and Ministers of YRSCP and greet them with ‘Jai Amaravati Jai Jai Amaravati’ slogan. He requested everyone to donate to support the fight of Amaravati
Not only this, Naidu along with his family, had spent the day with farmers and women of the Amaravati region on Sankranti and told them not to worry and face problems because of the government’s decision to relocate the state capital.
Speaking on the side to prevent the shift of state capital from Amaravati, Naidu addressed the farmers at Velagapudi and Tulluru and warned that the Chief Minister was playing with fire.
"The Chief Minister has no right to change the state capital… Amaravati is the capital of Gods, but now demons have descended to destroy it," Naidu said. He further added that they would soon meet the Governor on the issue and seek justice.
