Naidu Lauds TDP Leaders for Membership Drive Success
Chief Minister and TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu congratulated leaders from 10 Assembly constituencies for excelling in the party’s membership enrolment drive. Speaking to TDP MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and activists via teleconference, Naidu emphasized efforts to revive the state after the setbacks caused by the previous regime. He acknowledged and rewarded leaders who worked for the party’s success with nominated posts.
Highlighting the TDP-led NDA's remarkable 57% vote share and a 93% strike rate in the elections, Naidu noted that the party narrowly lost 11 seats. He reiterated the government’s commitment to integrating political governance with welfare programs, ensuring progress reaches the grassroots.
The membership enrolment program, launched on October 26, has added 52.45 lakh members, with Rajampet, Kuppam, Kalyanadurgam, and Palacol among the top-performing constituencies. Naidu praised IT Minister Nara Lokesh for his pivotal role in making the drive a success.
He announced the imminent appointment of heads for all party wings and highlighted the program's growing momentum in Telangana. Addressing development, Naidu revealed that Rs 1,400 crore has been allocated for road repairs, aiming to make all roads pothole-free by Sankranti.
“This government prioritizes welfare and is committed to creating employment opportunities for youth,” he affirmed, emphasizing the TDP’s dedication to the people’s prosperity.
