Naidu Meets Gowda Over EVM Issues

On Tuesday there was a meeting held between Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and former prime minister and JDS supremo HD Deve Gowda on the issues to fast track opposition parties on the controversies over the manipulation of EVMs.
According to Naidu, 23 parties were raising the issue and demanding transparency and accountability. He added that earlier, even the BJP had opposed EVMs, in Uttar Pradesh the EVMs were seen moved in hotels and homes which seemed that the strong rooms are being changed.
Back in 2006, JDS supremo HD Deve Gowda had written about the EVMs to the Election Commission and added that he felt ballot papers should be brought back to avoid these complications.
The battle is already going on of EC and Opposition Parties on the trust over EVMs, and now the oppositions have pressed the matter for their demand of increasing the tally number of paper trails of votes to EVM figures.
