Nara Lokesh Criticizes Rushikonda Hillock Constructions and Emphasizes Law and Order

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national general secretary and IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh revealed that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has requested a report on the expenditure incurred by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government for the construction of lavish buildings atop Rushikonda hillock in Visakhapatnam. These constructions have sparked controversy, with the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) claiming they are intended for use as a tourism resort and a camp office for the Chief Minister. In contrast, the TDP, JSP, and BJP assert that the structures are meant to serve as a residence for Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Lokesh stated that the report would be made public and that Naidu would investigate the environmental regulations potentially violated during the construction.
Speaking to the media during Bakrid celebrations at Mangalagiri in Guntur district, Lokesh assured that full details, including the cost of construction, would soon be disclosed and appropriate action would follow.
Addressing law and order, Lokesh condemned the killing of three TDP workers by individuals allegedly linked to the YSRCP since the new government took office. He noted that TDP activists are exercising restraint on the Chief Minister's instructions to avoid taking the law into their own hands.
Lokesh also highlighted the government's commitment to eradicating the ganja problem within 100 days, a promise made by the NDA before the elections. He mentioned that Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha and Director General of Police (DGP) Harish Kumar Gupta are actively working on this issue.
In his efforts to address public grievances, Lokesh emphasized the importance of government accessibility, stating that he is directly meeting with people to ensure their concerns are heard and resolved.
