Nara Lokesh Leads TDP's Charge in Mangalagiri, Confident of Statewide Victory

Nara Lokesh, the national general secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), is currently on a vigorous campaign trail in the Mangalagiri assembly constituency of Guntur district, gearing up for the forthcoming Andhra Pradesh elections. As the son of TDP chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Lokesh is determined to overturn the defeat faced by the party in the 2019 elections.

Acknowledging Mangalagiri's historical challenge for the TDP, Lokesh has deliberately chosen to confront this electoral battle head-on, aiming for victory this time around.

In an exclusive conversation with reputed media channel, Nara Lokesh radiated confidence in the TDP's prospects, predicting a sweeping triumph in the state polls and expressing certainty in unseating Jagan Reddy as the chief minister.

Lokesh emphasized the TDP's robust support not only in urban areas but also in rural Andhra Pradesh, underlining his party's aspirations to form the state government in alliance with the BJP.

Addressing the contentious issue of Muslim reservation in the state, Lokesh affirmed its continuation, disclosing that the TDP's decision was reached through an understanding with the BJP, despite the latter's opposition to religious-based reservation.
