New DGP Meets Andhra Pradesh CM

On Friday the new Director General of Police D Gautam Sawang met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in Tadepalli at CMs residence.

The agenda of the meeting was to discuss an IPS reshuffle across various districts, focusing on upcoming initiatives and looked into overall strength and development of Police Department.

Sawang could become a motivated driving force to the entire department, the official handing of charge will be on Saturday afternoon at the Andhra Pradesh police headquarters in Mangalagiri.

A full additional charge of Director General of Anti-Corruption Bureau was handed over to Kumar Vishwajeet, additional director general of Police (intelligence).
