Not Even Basic Rights Given to Lokesh After CBN Arrest
The AP CID arrested Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party, earlier today. It is shocking that he was detained without warning and much more so considering that his name isn't even on the FIR.
Naturally, Nara Lokesh is now the centre of attention as he must now lead the party and its soldiers from the front in this hour of need.
First off, the AP police denied Lokesh even the most fundamental human rights. Lokesh was told to remain seated when the Razole CI visited him earlier today. Lokesh was prevented from seeing his father, who was being imprisoned under dubious circumstances, in Nandyal.
Lokesh pleaded with the cops for common decency. I won't be bringing any of my party's top officials. I will be the lone person visiting my father. This does not include politics. As a member of the family, I want to be with my father.
However, Lokesh was still unable to leave and see his family because of the police. Lokesh protested against this persecution by sitting down and pleading for justice.
According to reports, Lokesh was not even permitted to talk with the media due to the directives. Anyone attempting to approach Lokesh and engage him in conversation was to be arrested, according to the rules in effect.
