Odisha CM Patnaik takes Oath For The Fifth Term

The BJD, which won 112 seats in the 147-member assembly in the recently, made Naveen Patnaik the longest Chief Minister of Odisha, it is his fifth term. The swear-in ceremony was held on Wednesday at Bhubaneswar.
Ditching the old traditional way of holding the swear-in ceremony at Raj Bhavan, 73-year-old BJD President took oath as the Chief Minister in an open ground, where hundreds of BJD workers along with Prominent Personalities from business and other fields were present.
The oath of office and secrecy to Patnaik was administered by Odisha governor Ganeshi Lal.
A prominent writer who is the sister of Patnaik was also present in the swear-in ceremony.
This is Naveen Patnaik’s fifth consecutive term as the Chief Minister of Odisha.
