PM Modi Intervene In AP’s Three Capital Issue?

Andhra Pradesh’s three capital agenda is one of the issues that has always been in the hot debate even in COVID-19 times. With reports of Prime Minister Narendra Modi intervening in the matter and asking the details of AP capital, there are many questions unanswered now.
As per the reports, PM Modi reported dialed AP Governor BiswabhusanHarichandan and discussed various issues in connection with the capital row.
Also, it is believed that Hindu Maha Sabha Principal Secretary GVR wrote a letter to Prime Minister Modi requesting him to look into the matter. Ironically, GVR himself opposed the three capital idea.
In the letter, GVR Sastry emphasized the three bills the government sent to the Governor including Capital Region Development Authority(CRDA) and ‘Three Capitals’.
Meanwhile, everyone now waits to know how the governor responds to the bills. This may take from few more days to few weeks to get clarity on the issue. On the other hand, PM Modi’s intervention in the matter is highly appreciable and everyone bides their time to get any news in the matter.
