PM Modi Takes Vacation After 18 Years!
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, was recently featured in Man v/s Wild show on Discovery channel. On his adventurous trip to Jim Corbett National Park with the show host Edward Michael Grylls, the Prime Minister did things that no other PM has ever done before.
The episode was aired on 12th August and the duo explored the wilderness of the national park and talked about conserving nature and wildlife. They also talked about Modiji’s connection to nature since his childhood, his parents teaching on the importance of nature and how he lived in the Himalayas as a young man.
The PM explained his journey from being a CM to becoming the prime minister of the nation and said, “I was the CM for 13 years. I didn't aspire to be PM. It’s a choice made by people. So, I am serving them in such position for 5 years. My whole focus is only on development. I consider this trip as a vacation for the first time after 18 years”.
When Bear Grylls asked him if he gets nervous before a rally or addressing people, Modiji said, “I see positivity in everything. Because of that, I am never disappointed”. When Grylls cautioned him of the existence of many tigers, crocodiles and snakes in the park, he replied, “God takes care of everything. The problem begins when we think that we are in conflict with nature”.
