PM Modi To Join Iceland, Finland, Denmark, Sweden And Norway Counterparts At India-Nordic Summit Today

PM Narendra Modi is on a 3-nation trip to Europe, is all set to hold meetings with the PMs of Norway, Iceland, Sweden, and Finland in Denmark on Wednesday.
PM Modi will also participate in the 2nd India-Nordic Summit along with Denmark, Finland, Sweden , Iceland and Norway counterparts where they will take stock of the cooperation since the First India-Nordic Summit in 2018.
"The Summit will focus on subjects like post-pandemic economic recovery, climate change, innovation and technology, renewable energy, the evolving global security scenario and India-Nordic cooperation in the Arctic region," PM Modi had said in his departure statement before embarking on the three-day visit on Sunday.
After that, PM Narendra Modi will depart for Paris to meet with newly re-elected French President Emmanuel Macron.
2 leaders discuss mitigating the global economic consequences of the Ukraine conflict as well as ways to ensure the cessation of hostilities in that nation, diplomatic sources said.
Before arriving in Denmark, Modi visited Germany where he held bilateral talks with the German Chancellor and co-chaired the India-Germany inter-governmental consultations.
