PM Modi To Unveil Statue Of Equality In Hyderabad

PM Narendra Modi is visiting Hyderabad today to participate in the Ramanujacharya Sahasrabdi (Ramanujacharya Sahasrabdi) celebrations at Muchintal of Ranga Reddy.
The PM will also visit ICRISAT in Patancheru to participate in the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
"I look forward to participating in two events in Hyderabad today. At 2:45 pm, I will be participating in the ICRISAT Golden Jubilee, an institution that works on aspects of agriculture and innovation," Modi wrote on Twitter.
PM Narendra Modi will unveil the 'Statue of Equality' today in Hyderabad. The 216 ft tall statue will commemorate the 11th-century Bhakti saint Sri Ramanujacharya, who was a philosopher, theologian and social reformer. He was the one who promoted the idea of equality for all, including faith, caste and creed.
On the other hand, as per an official release from the chief minister's office (CMO), state minister for animal husbandry, fisheries, dairy development, and cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav has been nominated as the minister-in-waiting to receive and see off the prime minister.
PM Modi would fly in a helicopter to the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) campus in Patancheru on the city outskirts to inaugurate the 50th-anniversary celebrations of the institution.
He would return to the airport at around 4.30 pm. From there, he would travel by road to Sriramanagaram, the ashram of Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, where he would dedicate to the nation the 'Statue of Equality,' the 216-ft statue of 11th century Vaishnavaite saint Sri Ramanujacharya.
I look forward to being in Hyderabad today to take part in two programmes. At around 2:45 PM, I will join the 50th Anniversary celebrations of ICRISAT, an important institution that works on aspects relating to agriculture and innovation.
