The outbreak of dreadful coronavirus has thrown everyone in fear and the death-toll and the positive cases are increasing every day. It would have been better if we had started preparing when the virus showing its power in China.
The preventive measures such as stopping the flights and non-entry of foreigners to the country should have been started before the entry of the virus into India. This negligence has put India in danger. However, at least, now, after losing a few lives, we are taking care to avoid community spread of the virus, which is stage 3 of the disease, by the lockdown of the country.
We should appreciate the move of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has extended the lockdown up to April 14 (for 21 days). He also said that the patients who were tested positive will be treated meanwhile. This move has the capability to eliminate this virus if everyone follows this seriously. However, there are a few people, especially youth, who are very careless and roaming outside. But, the government is taking serious action against them which is quite necessary for the current situation.
As the condition is critical, many people are unable to celebrate the festival ‘Ugadi’ (today), heartfully. But, the wishes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Telugu will definitely make your day!
