PM Modi questions Naidu's Move to Align with Congress, Reminds him of NTR
Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on a tour of three southern states is scheduled to address a rally in Guntur. The prime minister has so far addressed public meetings in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh along with inaugurating several development projects.
In a rally at Guntur questioning the move of Chandrababu Naidu to align itself with congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday invoked the legacy of late Andhra Pradesh chief minister N T Rama Rao.
Modi said that the atma of late CM NTR would hurt seeing the current conditions. Modi reminding Naidu that his party's very existence was born out of the 'insult' met out to his father-in-law by the grand old party and had questioned him that despite all that had happened how has he decided to join hands with Congress.
Adding to it Modi said, "Today, the TDP leader (Naidu) who should have strived for a Congress-mukt Bharat, who had to crush the arrogance of the naamdaars, has sided with them".
