PM Narendra Modi To Pass Orders For ‘Janata curfew’ on March 22

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on the coronavirus outbreak yesterday and announced a 'Janata (public) Curfew' on March 22, which is on Sunday. In an attempt to control the spread of coronavirus, which has affected over 180 in our country, PM Modi requested all the citizens of the nation to abide by the curfew on March 22 from 7 am till 9 pm.
During the Curfew, people are requested not to gather at public places and stay home for 14 hours in the view of the coronavirus outbreak.
PM Narendra Modi said, "On March 22, from 7 am to 9 pm, all countrymen have to follow the Janta Curfew."
He also added, "All citizens must abide by this."
WHAT IS JANATA CURFEW?
1. All the citizens of the nation except people working in crucial services like police, media, medical services, home delivery, fire fighting, and people serving the nation, etc. will take part in the Janata Curfew.
2. At 5 pm, all the people are requested to encourage the members working in essential services, in the times of coronavirus, by standing in their doorways and clapping and ringing their bells.
PM Narendra Modi said, "For the past two months, millions are working day and night at airports, hospitals and serving others by not taking care of themselves. On Sunday, Mar 22, at 5 pm, we should stand on our balconies, doorways, windows and keep clapping hands and ringing the bells for five mins to encourage and salute them."
3. He has also requested the people to inform at least 10 people of the Janata Curfew. "If possible, please call at least 10 people each day and tell them about the 'Janta Curfew' as well as the measures to prevent the outbreak."
