Passengers got Railway Tickets with Modi Photo – 4 Suspended
After carrying tickets with photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi which were issued to the passengers at Barabanki railway station in Uttar Pradesh, four Railway officials were arrested.
The Lucknow divisional railway manager suspended a chief reservation supervisor, a commercial inspector, and two reservation clerks.
Recently, the railways were pulled up by the Election Commission for issuing tickets with pictures of the prime minister. The other time, tea was served to passengers with the slogan "main Bhi Chowkidar" written on them.
The photograph was a part of an Urban Development Ministry advertisement campaign. A portion of the back side of the ticket is often used for advertising.
If this is the way BJP wants to campaign and win the polls, people are saying they are absolutely wrong!
