Pawan Kalyan Embarrassed With Center’s Reply On Amaravati

In a written answer to a question by TDP MP Jayadev Galla, the central government has firmly said it is the state’s business where to locate its capital. The center also refused to intervene in the matter.
Galla Jayadev wanted to know whether the central government would advise the state government not to resort to three capitals that would not only vitiate the investment climate in the state but also cause a great loss to the thousands of farmers who gave their land for construction of a capital city in Amaravati.
This comes as an obvious disappointment for the TDP and Amaravati farmers; Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena will also stand to lose. Janasena lately allied with BJP and confidently said that Amaravati will continue to be the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Union Government had washed off its hands on the Capital Shift. And this refusal of the Center to intervene also means that Janasena could not influence the BJP on this issue that will be seen as a failure. Rumors state that Amaravati was a pre-condition for the alliance of BJP and Janasena.
With no special allocations for AP in the Union Budget and Center washing off its hands on Amaravati, Janasena will have nothing to say about why it allied with BJP.
