Pawan Kalyan Issues Strong Warning Against Online Abuse Targeting Children
Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan recently delivered a stern warning against social media trolls targeting children. Known for his zero-tolerance approach toward social issues, Kalyan addressed the increasing instances of offensive online content targeting minors. In response, he cautioned that any form of abuse directed at children would face strict legal consequences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
“Any abuse aimed at children, especially on social media, is punishable under the POCSO Act,” Kalyan stated, lauding Kakinada district officials for their proactive stance against such issues. His statement has been widely shared, with many supporting his strong response to the online abuse problem. Kalyan’s firm warning aims to raise awareness and deter the trolling of children, emphasizing that these acts will not be tolerated. The issue highlights ongoing concerns about the negative impacts of social media on vulnerable groups and serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining respectful discourse online.
