Pawan Kalyan Supports NRC And CAA

Supporting BJP on the NRC (National Register of Citizens) and CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act), Pawan Kalyan, President of Jana Sena, said that there was no threat to Indian Muslims with the new laws initiated by the Centre government.
Speaking to media, Jana Sena President said the CAA was brought to give citizenship to minorities persecuted in neighboring countries. "India was never declared as a Hindu nation. Hindu minorities in Pakistan and Bangladesh are facing torture and the CAA has been brought to provide citizenship to such people who migrated to India under fear," said Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan Kalyan also said that there was no truth that Indian Muslims would lose citizenship with the CAA and NRC. He said that the controversy about the CAA and NRC was unnecessary and political parties were just creating fear among people.
The Jana Sena president said PM Modi and BJP president Amit Shah were taking the nation towards the growth corridor. Explaining his U-turn on his fight against the BJP-led Centre on the Special Category Status (SCS), he said the TDP leadership had committed a blunder by agreeing to the special package to ignore the SCS.
Pawan Kalyan also criticized YSRCP’s 3-capital city theory. He said that no one would call a city as the capital because it hosts the high court. He said it was a diversionary tactic.
Pawan Kalyan said that he had found fault with the TDP regime when it pooled 33,000 acres for the capital city. He said Jana Sena was ready to work with BJP.
