Pic Talk: PM Modi Shares Old Pics on Birthday!

Yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared some of his old photographs on Twitter, on the occasion of his 69^th birthday. He said that his friends wished him by sending him his old pics. He also asked people to share their memories with him, if they have any! “Reliving precious moments and special memories," he said, adding that he has been receiving old photos from his friends. I have been receiving many old photos from various friends. I am sharing few such photos with a request- if you have such memories, kindly share them with me,” Modi tweeted.

Modi went to Gujarat a night before his birthday and flew from Gandhinagar to Kevadia in Narmada district yesterday morning. Modi has celebrated his birthday with his mother Heeraben, who lives near Gandhinagar in Gujarat. He had lunch with his mother and then spent some time with his neighbors. Despite his busy schedule, Modi didn’t miss to meet his mother on his special day. Heeraben who is 98 stays with her younger son Pankaj Modi. Modi had also reviewed programs and projects including the Statue of Unity and the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the river Narmada.

In some of the pics shared by Modi on Twitter, he was seen as a common middle-class man in a small house, surrounded by a few members. We can also observe a photo of Swami Vivekananda near him!
