Potential Hiccup for Jagan on SCS

A Special Category Status (SCS) was requested by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister designated YS Jaganmohan Reddy to Prime Minister Modi on 26^th May, may become a problem in his side while in the power. The opposition parties may take up the issue of SCS and build against Jagan.

Jagan was very clear during the campaigning’s and even before, that he will give support to any party government, who will give SCS status to AP. He did not care whose party might come to be it Congress or BJP.

The problem has arisen as BJP is forming a government with the majority and does not need anyone’s support, this will make things difficult for Jagan to get the status of SCS. This is stressing YSRC chief that his long term dream will not be fulfilled.

Also, the way things went at Dheli, the response of Jagan on SCS was tactless and inexperience of handling the issues according to political analyst Prabhakar.

Whereas TDP is all silent and wants to wait and watch and react after Jagan swearing-in.
