Rajnath Singh Praises IAF’s Swift Strike in Operation Sindoor, Slams IMF Aid to Pakistan

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, during a visit to the Bhuj Air Force Station in Gujarat on Friday, lauded the Indian Air Force (IAF) for its swift and precise execution of Operation Sindoor, which targeted Pakistan-based terrorist infrastructure. He hailed the operation as a defining moment in India's fight against cross-border terrorism.
“In the time it takes to have breakfast, you eliminated the enemy,” Singh told the air warriors, applauding their 23-minute strike that dismantled key terror camps across the border. “What you did has made every Indian proud, both at home and abroad,” he said, emphasizing that the operation had sent a powerful message to the world about India’s zero-tolerance approach to terrorism.
The minister noted that the world was watching and admiring India’s military precision. “You didn’t just strike terror camps; you showcased India’s capability and resolve,” he said.
The Bhuj airbase was one of the Indian installations targeted by Pakistan last week, making Singh’s visit particularly symbolic. His stop in Gujarat followed a visit to Jammu and Kashmir, where he reviewed the security situation along the Line of Control and International Border.
Singh also issued a strong warning against international financial aid to Pakistan, particularly from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). “Any aid to Pakistan risks funding terrorist organizations,” he said. “The IMF must reconsider such decisions.”
He added that while India contributes to IMF funds to assist poor countries, Pakistan, in contrast, misuses such aid to sponsor terrorism. “Pakistan must stop supporting anti-India elements and allowing its soil to be used against us,” he said during his earlier visit to an airbase in Srinagar.
