Reasons Why BJP Won Elections 2022 In 4 States

BJP has made history in UP. The big question now is, how did the BJP manage to win?
Here are the answers:
DELIVERY: RASHAN, TOILET, WATER, HOMES
During the 2nd wave of Covid-19, under the free ration distribution scheme, the govt distributed free foodgrains to around 15 crore people in the UP state. Yogi Adityanath relaunched the scheme in December 2021, where people would receive 10 kgs of free foodgrains and oil under 2 separate schemes till Holi 2022.
For example, Modi government's Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, gave monetary assistance. Ayushman Bharat insured 1.3 crore, people, for their medical needs. Also, under the Swachh Bharat Mission, money was transferred to people's bank accounts to construct toilets.
All these schemes worked wonders for the BJP in UP elections 2022. Even a farmer who was frustrated with the stray cattle menace went in to vote for the BJP as he then had a roof over his head and a toilet in his house.
THE MODI-YOGI DOUBLE ENGINE
Yogi Adityanath and Modi both hail from different roots. While PM Modi has, since the beginning has been associated with the RSS, Yogi was never attached to the RSS.
But both Yogi and Modi have enjoyed a cult following in politics. In the past 5 years in UP, Yogi has had a hold on the voters. He led the BJP from the front; a party that was on slippery ground in UP.
LAW AND ORDER
When Yogi got to the helm of affairs in UP, he had the uphill task of dealing with the law and order of the state, which was always a subject of debate in Uttar Pradesh. The BJP government went behind the notorious elements in the state.
In 2022, UP was the 2nd state in the country with highest number of encounters, with 117 in just the last 5 years. The figure was given by the Home Ministry to the Lok Sabha on February 8, 2022.
HINDUTVA AND RAM MANDIR
Hindutva in Uttar Pradesh was never left behind by the BJP. Ram Mandir rarely featured in the narrative of the UP Elections 2022, but it was a huge brownie point for the BJP. Yogi Adityanath would take a dig at the opposition in his rallies, stating, "Could the opposition have built the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya?"
Ram Mandir has already begun construction in Ayodhya. The temple is slated to be completed by 2023, ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, and seems to have played a part in the BJP making it to the throne of UP a 2nd time.
Meanwhile, the Punjabis has not been swayed by the Modi wave since 2014, election after election. The magic failed to convince Punjabis in the current polls.
