SS Chandrasekhar Azad Assumes Role as Executive Officer of Srisailam Temple
SS Chandrasekhar Azad officially took charge on Monday as the Executive Officer (EO) of the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple, one of the holiest shrines in South India. Before assuming his duties, Azad sought the blessings of the presiding deities.
Speaking to reporters, Chandrasekhar Azad expressed his gratitude for being entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the temple's administration. He acknowledged the efforts of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, and the local MLA, all of whom have shown a keen interest in elevating the temple’s stature.
Azad shared his ambitious vision for the temple, stating that the Chief Minister has pledged to develop Srisailam on par with the world-renowned Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He assured devotees that steps would be taken to enhance the temple on all fronts, ensuring a smooth and divine darshan experience.
Additionally, as part of preserving Sanatana Dharma, he announced initiatives such as Gow Rakshna (cow protection) and Dharma Pracharam (promotion of religious teachings).
The EO emphasized the importance of teamwork, urging the temple staff to perform their duties with dedication and responsibility. He encouraged them to actively contribute to the temple's growth and development, aligning with the blessings of the presiding deities and guidance from higher authorities.
With a renewed focus on infrastructure, spiritual activities, and the welfare of devotees, Chandrasekhar Azad's leadership promises to usher in a new era for the sacred temple.
