Sitting on an 11-day deeksha is Pawan Kalyan.
It is clear that the contamination of the Tirumala laddu, as shown by the released lab test data, has affected AP deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan. Pawan has undergone an 11-day Prayaschitha deeksha as part of the restoration of the holiness procedure.
The deliberate attempts to introduce impurity into the prasad of Sri Tirupati Balaji Dham, the epicenter of our religion, belief, and devotion, have greatly wounded me personally. To be honest, I feel betrayed from the inside out. I'm making a commitment to fast for eleven days and to ask the Lord for forgiveness right now.
Pawan stated, as he sat on deeksha, "In the last two days of the eleven-day Atonement Initiation, on October 1 and 2, I will go to Tirupati and have a personal darshan of the Lord and beg for forgiveness and then my Atonement Initiation will be completed in front of the Lord." At the Sri Dasavathara Swamy temple in Guntur, this deeksha has begun.
