Successful Hip Replacement Surgery for Former CM K Chandrashekhar Rao
In a recent development, former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao underwent a successful left total hip replacement surgery at Yashoda Hospitals, Somajiguda. The hospital released a bulletin on Friday evening, indicating that a team of senior orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses conducted the surgery.
The bulletin stated that the surgery was well-tolerated, and KCR remained hemodynamically stable throughout the procedure.Post-surgery, KCR has been moved to a recovery room, where he is receiving routine post-operative care.
This includes intravenous fluids, prophylactic antibiotics, and pain medication. The health bulletin mentioned that the plan for ambulation, physiotherapy, and nutrition will be tailored based on the assessment scheduled for the next day. The expected duration of recovery is estimated to be six to eight weeks.
