TDP Initiates 'Poor to Rich' Project for Poverty Alleviation on NTR's Death Anniversary
On the solemn occasion of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao's 28th death anniversary, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu expressed a steadfast commitment to realizing NTR's vision of a poverty-free society. At Nimmakuru, the birthplace of the iconic leader, Naidu garlanded NTR's idols and unveiled the ambitious "Poor to Rich" project, aimed at uplifting the underprivileged. Addressing the gathering, Naidu outlined the comprehensive poverty alleviation program, designed to create sustainable wealth at the grassroots level.
Emphasizing local empowerment, he spoke of connecting Nimmakuru to the global market while generating prosperity locally. The NTR Memorial Trust will play a pivotal role in monitoring the progress, focusing on enhancing income and skill development within identified families. Naravaripalle has been chosen as a pilot project, showcasing the potential success of the initiative. The "Poor to Rich" program includes enrolling economically disadvantaged students in quality schools, with 19 families already identified for support in the initial phase.
Chandrababu Naidu paid tribute to NTR's legacy, symbolizing the commitment to uplift the less fortunate. TDP state president Achcheyannaidu and Lokesh, in a symbolic gesture, participated in a blood donation camp organized by the NTR Trust. Lokesh also garlanded the idols of NTR and Mrs. Bhavan at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri.
As the "Poor to Rich" project takes root in Nimmakuru, Chandrababu Naidu envisions extending its success across the state, marking a significant step towards realizing NTR's dream of a poverty-free society.
