TDP Worried About Its State Office

After Telugu Desam Party introduced the thermal screening of visitors at its central office, the party is worried about its Party’s office which has been constructed on the government’s land.
It is yet another tactic used by TDP leaders to attack the ruling YRSCP. Recently, the party got some break because of the shift in the dates of local body elections. TDP is now taking up the land issue, which has been a debatable question for its allocations and development.
Fearing that the YSRCP would take up this issue, the TDP has already decided to raise questions on the issue and put the YSRCP government on the mat.
Mangalagiri YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy had earlier raised several issues regarding the land which was bought for a 33-year lease. So the TDP now wants to pre-empt any move to demolish the office and take back the land by going on the offensive.
Amid the coronavirus outbreak, party leaders and workers have advised not to come to the state office unless there is an emergency.
