TRS charged with Rs 2 lakh crore Debt for Telangana
A new allegation has been made by the Congress Party against TRS for Telangana state. As per the allegations made, Congress charged KCR of Plunging Telangana into a debt of Rs 2 Lakh Crore. As per statements and evaluations, Congress has mentioned that the state was pushed into this debt amount for the past five years.
The statement was officially made by the State Congress President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy. He made the evaluation statement at the ceremony when unfurling the national flag. The event was organized at the Gandhi Bhavan on the state’s formation day.
He also added that the state was already facing a huge debt of Rs 69,000 crore, even before the TRS was elected by the voters of the state as the ruling party. Later he added that an additional sum of Rs 2.60 lakh crore was borrowed by the TRS, once in power. This attempt had, in fact, raised the debt amount exceeding to over 2.60 Lakh crore.
