TRS claims for three seat win in MLC Polls

TRS managed to retain back two seats for MLC along with one seat from state Congress. The seats were retained in Nalgonda, Rangareddy and Warangal Districts elections for local authority constituencies. The final results for the local polling sessions were officially declared on 3rd June 2019.
The results thus declared were very much closer to the Lok Sabha election 2019 poll results.
For these elections, TRS party managed to retain Rangareddy seats (Patnam Mahender Reddy) and Warangal seats (Pochampally Srinivas Reddy). While for Congress it managed to retain Nalgonda seat (T. Chinnappa Reddy) for the current MLC polling sessions. The elections were held on 31st May 2019.
Newly elected MLC candidates were congratulated for their victory by TRS party working president KT Rama Rao and state CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Besides, the two also appreciated the support offered by the local body representatives.
For the last MLC elections, K Naveen Rao was elected for the post unopposed by any other candidate. He managed to gain victory under the MLA quota. The polling session was conducted on account of resignation submitted by TRS candidate Myanampally Hanumantha Rao.
Looking at the trend, MPTC’s, ward members and ZPTC’s within their authority constituencies, cast votes for the candidates within the local bodies. The procedure is done with an aim to elect eligible MLC within the district.
With an aim to safeguard their candidates from being poached by Congress party, TRS managed to shift the candidates to Araku, Manali, and Shirdi. The members were bought back to their respective districts under supervision on 1st May for the polling sessions.
For these elections, Srinivas Reddy managed to get over 825 votes whereas Venkatrami Reddy had to compromise with only 23 votes for the Warangal district.
