Telangana Celebrates its Fifth Birth anniversary
Sunday, 2nd June 2019, was the time when Telangana state celebrated its Fifth birth anniversary. The Event was celebrated by the local people as a festive event. Lights, music, and celebrations could be seen in the Capital City – Hyderabad, as well.
Just like a traditional festival, lots of flower decorations on historical monuments could be seen. The government and people ensured that no historical place, monument or even government buildings were left undecorated. Colored flowers and aroma could be felt in the air itself.
All major government structures including Assembly hall, clock tower, Buddha statue, Flyover bridges, lighthouse and much more were illuminated and decorated with colored Lights.
The celebration could also be seen in nature as Hussain Sagar picturesque was also illuminated with color and decorated with the national flag. The entire scene was highly appreciated by passerby and tourists.
CM Chandrasekhar Rao and other Ministers in his Cabinet visited some of the famous memorials in the City. They paid salutations to the great Martyrs, who laid down their lives during the struggle for new state formation. The events were attended by a number of old and new Ministers and other Diplomats.
The events were also attended by President Ran Nath Kovind, PM of the country Narendra Modi and BJP former head and Home Minister Amit Shah. Apart from this, Mamata Banerjee (CM West Bengal) and Neiphiu Rio had also attended the event. Many people and followers of the Tweets, also offered their likes and tweets online.
