Telangana has become the nation's torchbearer, according to KTR
KT Rama Rao stated that Telangana has attained the position that the citizens had envisioned for the state after its formation and had become a beacon for the entire nation by achieving phenomenal growth in all disciplines.
At the Independence Day celebrations held at the Integrated District Offices Complex in Sircilla, Rama Rao stated that Telangana, which has evolved as a strong economic force, is playing a crucial role in the development of the nation. This was made possible by the support of the populace, the perseverance of public representatives, and the dedication of government officials.
The State government, which had implemented welfare programs such as Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima to safeguard the interests of farmers, had also decided to forgive farm loans. This decision was made by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, and the process will be completed within 45 days. Moreover, Telangana was the only state that provided free electricity to the agricultural sector 24 hours per day.
The State government recently introduced the Gruha Lakshmi scheme to fulfill the dreams of the homeless poor in the State by constructing two-bedroom houses. Rama Rao stated that the financial aid of Rs 1 lakh being provided to artisans from backward communities would transform the lives of BC communities, stating that the state government was taking measures for the welfare of all segments of society. He stated that it would continue until all eligible beneficiaries received benefits.
The Chief Minister introduced the Dalit Bandhu program, which was a boon for the community members, in an effort to improve the lives of dalits in a holistic manner. Informing that 206 units were established in the first phase, he promised benefits for all of the district's impoverished dalits. The services of junior panchayat secretaries and village revenue assistants were regularized, with 345 VRAs receiving the benefit and 59 JPS being assigned as Grade-4 district secretaries.
Under the "Telangana Chenetha Maggam" program, the Minister announced the replacement of antiquated gunta looms with frame looms as part of a series of initiatives aimed at promoting the welfare of the weaving community. In addition to providing insurance to weavers along the same lines as farmers, the government paid an insurance amount to weavers over the age of 75 by attaching it to the Thrift program.
The ready-to-wear garments produced by women at the Green Needle unit of Gokaldas Images in Sircilla apparel park were exported to the United States under the Sircilla label. Approximately 8,000 women would find employment in the garment industry once the apparel park was completed.
