Telangana roads to look like mirror - KCR decides to build BT roads for all 12,751 village panchayats
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Saturday conducted review meeting with the officials of the roads and buildings (R&B) department and has vowed to make Telangana roads look like a mirror.
KCR made it very clear to give the highest priority to the roads and highways after the irrigation projects. He has also asked the R&B officials to assess the existing conditions of the roads in the state and prepare a plan accordingly. He would then look after the allocation of budget based on the assessment done.
He also instructed the concerned officials that including the newly formed village Panchayats, the entire 12,751 village Panchayats in the state should be provided with BT road facility.
Along with the making road look like a mirror, according to the release, Rao also said construction of offices for MLAs has been taken up by the government and also instructed the officials to immediately pay all those people who had lost their land in the construction of Canals of Kaleswaram Project.
