The Final Phase of Panchayat Elections Today: Telangana
The third and final phase Panchayat elections are going to be held in the state of Telangana today (Wednesday).
The first two phases of Panchayat elections in the state were completed peacefully without any problems.
Now, the election commission is trying to complete the final phase of elections in the same manner.
The elections will be held for 3,529 panchayats and the remaining 573 panchayats were declared unanimous. The voting will begin from 7:00 AM and ends at 1:00 PM.
The counting of votes will begin from 2 PM and the results will be announced by the evening. There are 11,667 candidates in the race for the posts of sarpanch.
The Election Commission has ordered the district administration to announce holiday locally so that everyone will be able to vote and no disturbances will arise.
