The State has a new Secretariat, and CM KCR commends authorities and public representatives.
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao thanked the many people who had a hand in making Telangana the most progressive State in India and building the new Secretariat over the past nine years. These included Ministers, legislators, former and current senior bureaucrats, employees, and even workers.
After dedicating the new Secretariat building on Sunday, the Chief Minister acknowledged the government workers who have assisted him over the past nine years in developing State efforts. He claimed that the renowned Secretariat building owed its existence to the combined efforts of many people. Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar was remembered for his work instituting reforms in the State and constructing the new Secretariat building, and A Santhi Kumari was thanked for her assistance. In addition to the present DGP, Anjani Kumar praised the efforts of past DGPs Anurag Sharma and M Mahendra Reddy.
The Chief Minister also credited Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) Rakesh Mohan Dobriyal, former PCCF R Shobha, and Other Secretary (OSD) Priyanka Varghese for the success of the 'Haritha Haram' program in increasing the State's green cover. He likewise lauded the achievements of Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme Director and Special Chief Secretary (Irrigation) Rajat Kumar.
The State's progress in information technology was cited, with Principal Secretary IT and Industries Jayesh Ranjan receiving praise from the Chief Minister. The new Secretariat building was completed in record time, which he credited to the efforts of Minister of Roads and Buildings Vemula Prashant Reddy, engineering-in-chief of R&B I Ganapathi Reddy, and other officers.
