Then K-Tax, Now J-Tax!

It seems Andhra Pradesh has no way to escape from the taxes! Earlier, when Chandrababu Naidu was in power, Jaganmohan Reddy criticized that Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao and his family members in Narasaropeta constituency used to extort money from businessmen, contractors, etc. YSRCP also coined the term ‘K-Tax’ for it. This K-Tax had been demanded from contractors and others to protect their business from Kodela and his family! Though the allegations on Kodela were not proved, Jagan used to criticize him often. Even if what Jagan said was true, it was just happened in one constituency out of 175 total Assembly constituencies in AP.
And now, it is Jagan’s time! YSCRP leaders started demanding the taxes in the same way, but not from one constituency. The tax, which is coined as J-Tax (Jagan tax) by TDP leaders, is being collected from all the 151 Assembly constituencies held by YSRCP. Even in the remaining 24 Assembly constituencies which are held by Opposition TDP (23) and Jana Sena (1), the local YSRCP leaders are alleged to be demanding J-tax.
Sources claim that Jagan already warned YSRCP members against extortion of money, but they are no mood to stop it! YSRCP members even ignored Jagan's orders and said they lost so much when Chandrababu is in power and they have to regain that, for the survival of the party!
