US President Thank Narendra Modi On HCQ Decision

US President, Donald Trump is appreciating the efforts of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after coming to know that he has lifted the ban on Hydroxychloroquine- HCQ exports, and the USA will soon get the Paracetamol along with the first batch of the medicine.
During a recent media interaction, Donald Trump said that over 29 million doses of HCQ bought by the US to combat the coronavirus pandemic are from our country.
On Tuesday, Donald Trump also said that PM Narendra Modi was great when he sought his help to allow exports of the anti-malarial drug Hydroxychloroquine - HCQ to treat Coronavirus patients in the US. Both spoke over the issue last week and during their telephonic conversation, Trump requested PM Modi to lift the hold on his order of HCQ.
Donald Trump mentioned in his tweet as "Extraordinary times require even closer cooperation between friends. Thank you, India and the Indian people for the decision on HCQ. It will not be forgotten! Thank you Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) for your strong leadership in helping not just India, but humanity, in this fight!."
Meanwhile, Trump clarified that India is banning the export of Hydroxychlorooquine to some other countries but not the US, whereas the Indian officials declared that they are exporting the drug to other countries that need it.
HCQ has been identified by the United States Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of COVID - 19 and is being tested on more than 1,500 Coronovirus patients in New York.
