Uttam Kumar Reddy claims Congress as an alternative to rule Telangana
Uttam Kumar Reddy, The Newly elected parliamentary member from Nalgonda expressed his views related to Congress Party. Even after the results of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 have been declared, still, he is concerned that TRS’s rule will most likely be taken away by Congress party.
Even if BJP wave has been taking over most states nationwide, still for Telangana state, he feels that Congress has a better chance to form the cabinet government. He also expressed that BJP still has a long way to go before it can actually replace Congress party statewide.
He also marked that as far as grass root level is concerned, BJP is not prepared to uproot congress completely statewide. This statement was made by him after studying the BJP’s performance in the December Assembly election. During those elections, BJP had already lost over 100 seats in assembly segments.
The statement was further supported by him saying that BJP’s win in present Lok Sabha Elections could only be considered as a matter of luck in Telangana. As per Reddy, it is the Congress party that still has its stronghold in the state.
As for the Lok Sabha Elections results, he claimed that voters of Telangana state wanted to outcast Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao as he was more used to displaying his Arrogant behavior in Politics. As a result of this, Chandrasekhar Rao had to satisfy himself with only a few seats this election.
Apart from this, he also mentioned that Congress party had in fact performed much better even for this election in the state leaving no negative impact on the voter's minds.
