We Welcome Rahul Gandhi: KTR

TRS working president KTR suggests in an interview to a reputed news channel on the eve of Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Telangana.
Q: What do you think of Rahul Gandhi's visit to Telangana for the Farmers Struggle Meet in Warangal?
Ans: Rahul Gandhi is welcome to visit Telangana despite his hollow empathy for Telangana farmers. I ask Mr. Gandhi to show me a better governance model than Telangana.
Q:In Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, do the Congress governments offer Rythu Bandhu, free power for 24 hours, or have they fulfilled their promises to waive farm loans?
Ans: The interventions brought in by the govt for farmers have not been done in any State and I say this with utmost authority. So to come and make empty promises is ridiculous.
Q:Why is Rahul Gandhi being denied entry into Osmania University?
Ans: OU VC knows better. It is possible that he did not think Gandhi's credentials were good enough to meet students. Anyway, what is his relevance to the university and how qualified he is to address students? Is he a qualified professor? His visit is to stir a hornet’s nest, indulge in nonsensical rhetoric, and make a political statement. His visit is not academic but political. Enough damage has been done on campuses across the country. Look at JNU and how divided it is.
Q: KCR administration has been very critical of the Gandhi family recently?
Ans: Politically, we criticize everyone, but we maintain dignity and decency. Take a look at our CM who showed political decency by praising Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy for bringing in Aarogyasri. When Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma made some unsavoury comments against Rahul Gandhi, our CM KCR condemned the disgraceful comments.
Q: You have been very critical of PM Narendra Modi as well?
Ans:Telangana is nowhere in Modi's Mann ki Baat or Modi's Mann. Modi has been insulting Telangana's birth itself repeatedly. The Prime Minister represents the Indian government and I have the right to criticise him when he fails to deliver. He has been a huge let-down. Eight quarters of dismal economic performance and a COVID lockdown leading to an economic slowdown proved to be a result of flawed policies such as demonetization and an ineffective GST. With Modi's destruction of the economy, the country is now suffering from the highest inflation in 30 years, the highest unemployment rate in 45 years, and the highest LPG prices in the world. We will continue to expose him.
Q: Youngsters seem to be moving towards BJP is the narrative. What is your take?
Ans: Politics is all about giving hope to youngsters. I promise that their future is safe with TRS and its policies. Every parent and kid looks for a better future, and BJP has failed miserably. Can the BJP infuse such positive thoughts? When is 65% of the population less than 35 years, how many of these come to BJP meetings? We can’t generalize.
Q: Does Congress believe KTR will be the face of the 2023 elections?
Ans: Our CM is in the pink of health, and I have repeatedly said that TRS will fight the elections with his face. Revanth Reddy or Bandi Sanjay will not be taken as serious alternatives to a champion like KCR, ending the game for those parties.
