YSRCP Unveils Candidates for Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha Elections
In a significant development ahead of the upcoming elections, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), led by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, revealed its roster of candidates for all 175 Assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. The announcement took place at the 'samadhi' of former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, situated in Idupulupaya, Kadapa district, with party supremo Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in attendance.
During the event, Bapatla MP Nandigam Suresh and Revenue Minister D Prasada Rao disclosed the names of the candidates for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, respectively. Notably, B Jhansi Laxmi secured the nomination for the Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency, while G Uma Bala and V Vijayasai Reddy emerged as candidates for Narasapuram and Nellore, respectively. Furthermore, the incumbent MP Y S Avinash Reddy will seek re-election from the Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency, as per the announced list.
This unveiling of candidates underscores the YSRCP's strategic preparations and commitment to fielding strong contenders across various constituencies, signaling the party's determination to secure a decisive mandate in the forthcoming elections.
