Xiaomi and Redmi Got Divorced!

We have seen a few breakups in the tech industry but the separation of this pair is heart-wrenching for many!

It is none other than Xiaomi Redmi and yeah, we cannot call them together from now. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirmed the news that Xiaomi and Redmi are getting separated.

According to GizmoChina, the executive said that this decision has been taken to focus on the Mi brand of phones to generate more business.

After this separation, Xiaomi will have three different brands under it: Redmi for budget phones, Poco for ‘affordable premium’ phones and Mi for premium phones.
