2 Militants Killed in Shopian Sector of Kashmir

Two militants are believed killed in a continuous encounter between security powers and a gathering of militants in south Kashmir's Shopian on Sunday.

An authority said encounter broke out amid a predawn task of security powers at HendSatioora town.

"Militants opened flame when security powers focused in on their concealing spot. A few militants were covering up in the territory. We trust two militants were murdered yet the bodies are yet to be recuperated," said the authority.

Starter reports recommend the militants accepted to be caught included Basharat Ahmad of Nikloora and Tariq Ahmad of Khasipora. Both had a place with the Lashkar-e-Taiba. Ahmad was a unique cop before joining militancy on April 26 when he evacuated with the administration rifle.
