83 Movie Release Date Postponed

Because of the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID19), the government has taken some precautionary measures to protect the people. It ordered the closure of shopping malls, cinema halls, and other places that have big public gatherings. To support the government, many filmmakers have postponed the release date of their films and shootings too.
Many big to small films have been already postponed and now, the makers of ‘83’ have taken the same decision. They said that they will announce the new release date soon. “In the wake of the risks posed by the recent outbreak of COVID19 and the growing health concerns, we have put the release of 83 on hold,” the movie team said.
“We will decide the next course of action once the conditions return to normal. We urge our fans to take all the necessary precautionary measures and take care of their loved ones. 83 is a film about fighting the odds and we hope we all will bounce back from this soon,” the team ended.
83 is an upcoming Indian sports drama directed by Kabir Khan and jointly produced by Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Phantom Films, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie stars Ranveer Singh as cricketer Kapil Dev, along with Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, and Sahil Khattar playing key roles.
