AP CM Naidu to Review Key Departments, Address Sand Policy and Road Projects

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will conduct a review today focusing on three key departments: sand prices, road infrastructure, and essential commodities. The review will include discussions on potential changes to the state's sand policy and address allegations of sand mafia dealings under the previous government, led by Peddireddy. There were accusations that illegal activities by the sand mafia compromised the Annamaiya Dam.
In the past, the TDP criticized the former YCP government for neglecting road construction projects. To rectify this, the current government will prioritize road repairs. Additionally, a white paper on the current situation in the capital city of Amaravati will be released tomorrow. Minister Narayana oversees the final preparations and will brief CM Naidu before its publication.
This review aims to highlight key issues affecting the state's infrastructure and essential services and to propose improvement solutions.
