AP High Court grants Naidu parole in Angallu case; Supreme Court to hear SLP in the afternoon
The High Court has rendered its decision on the petition for anticipatory parole submitted by TDP chief Chandrababu in the case lodged against him by Mudivedu police of Annamayya district in connection with the Angallu incident. The court has granted Chandrababu parole. After hearing arguments from both parties in the Angallu violence case on Thursday, the AP High Court reserved its decision.
In the meantime, Chandrababu's attorneys have petitioned the ACB court for the release of CID officials' call logs during Chandrababu's arrest. In this case, the justice of the ACB court has already heard arguments from both parties, and it is probable that the proceedings will continue today. There is a chance that a verdict could be rendered today.
In contrast, the Supreme Court will continue hearing Chandrababu Naidu's petition for special leave to dismiss the Skill Development case. The government's attorney Mukul Rohatgi will proceed to present arguments in the petition. Uncertain is whether the Supreme Court will refer the case to the Constitutional bench or render a verdict.
