About 5 lakh fresh graduates to benefit from the Shreyas scheme
The Union Minister of Human Resources and Development Prakash Javadekar had launched the Scheme for Higher Education Youth in Apprenticeship and Skills for providing job opportunities for fresh graduates of 2019.
The scheme aims to boost the employment skills of Indian youth by providing them with ‘on the job work exposure’ through the National Apprenticeship Promotional Scheme (NAPS) and the National Career Service (NCS). These apprenticeship courses will be available to them from academic year April-May, 2019.
As per the officials, over 9.5 lakh students have registered for the apprentice and apart from the Rs.6000 per month stipend, the students are also entitled to Rs.1500 reimbursement.
It is undoubtedly one of the biggest programme undertaken by the government so far and many will be benefited with it.
